2009 · July For Kings
Album: July For Kings - Monochrome
Context
July For Kings was independently producing their next album and needed to make multitrack drum capture work from their rehearsal space.
What I Did
Audio engineering for initial drum capture, all done in the basement of a Kentucky home.
Outcome
Released to physical and digital.
"The sonic quality and engineering is outstanding — whether the song has multiple layers of big guitars, harmonies, and strings, or is just a stripped down tune, the music is always a perfect match for the mood."
— Now This ROCKS!
"The album is filled with great hooks and strong arrangements and musical mastermind Joe Hedges and his crew have made another fine effort that will hopefully propel them into the realm of recognition they have been deserving for so long."
